Green Tourmaline

Green is associated with the 4th chakra (I also like Jade for this as well) Tourmalines carry a positive and negative charge. I really like this aspect, as it reminds us of balance in our lives. Tourmalines are credited with the power to enhance one's understanding, increase self-confidence, amplify (quartz are amplifiers) ones psychic energy, aid in concentration & communication. As well, they are believed to neutralize negative energies, & dispell fear and grief. Tourmalines were also believed to be usefull in relaxing the body and the mind, and to help in the treatment of many different diseases such as anxiety, blood poisoning, arthritis, and heart disease.
